My name is Charity Parrott. I have had the honor of supporting families and attending births for the last 3 years. In this time, I have become a certified labor doula, a certified childbirth educator, a certified Hypnobirthing Practitioner and a belly caster. I recently graduated from the Massachusetts Midwives Alliance Basic Midwifery Course. I attend hospital births as a doula and homebirths as an apprentice midwife.
I believe birth to be a normal process best facilitated by support and guidance. My approach to birth is to support the mother and her partner in the way they feel will best help them. I ejoy meeting with families and discussing how they feel I may best support them in their birthing. I support families from pregancy through the initial postpartum period. I also enjoy providing postpartum doula services.
In addition to being a doula and childbirth educator, I am the mother of 2 beautiful girls and am married to a very supportive man.
