My name is Charity Parrott. Birth is my calling. I have had the honor of supporting families and attending births for the last 3 years. In this time, I have become a certified labor doula, a certified childbirth educator, and a belly caster. I am currently attending the Massachusetts Midwives Alliance Midwifery Course, and serve the MMA's Board of Director's as the Student Midwife Representative. I also serve on the Public Relations and Fundraising Committee of the Massachusetts Midwives Alliance.
I believe birth to be a normal process best facilitated by support and guidance. My approach to birth is to support the mother and her partner in the way they feel will best help them. Meeting with expectant families and creating a plan together is essential to their feelings of satisfaction with the birth. I also enjoy the privilege of caring for new families after birth.
In addition to being a doula and birth educator, I am also a mother of two daughters and two stepdaughters, as well as the four stepgrandchildren. I am happily married to the love of my life. In my spare time, I enjoy skiing, snowboarding, horseback riding and gardening. It would be my sincere pleasure to meet with you and explore your desires for your birthing experience
